Grand Centennial celebrations of S.P.H. High school has been started with the splendid Dnyanjyot Yatra. Almost 3500students from std 1 to 12, school staff, past students and retired teachers participated in it enthusiastically. The procession consisting a Nashik Dhol- Tasha Pathak, a decorated camel cart for Gujarati primary students in beautiful traditional costumes, the dnyanrath with the photos of our beloved Pujya Bhise Guruji, Pu. Chitre Guruji, Pu. Save Sir along with Shri Govind Ganesh Churi and the great donors Sunabai and Dhanabai, started from school at 4:30 pm and ended at Bordi bus stop at about 7:00 in the evening. A group of students of Sharadashram led this procession holding the school banners and flags. The feats performed by Shri Ghanshyam Kathe, our teacher and his nephew Bhavin Kathe holding ‘Mashal’were equally spectacular. The Lazim group of the students of std- 7 showed their zeal and vigour on the beats of Nashik dhol till the end. Delicate swaying moves of the girls of std-8,9 & 11 dressed in traditional costumes with auspicious Kalash on their heads ahead of Dnyanrath added grandeur and beauty to this Dnyanjyotyatra.
